My home in the small village of Tarbet on Loch Lomond, in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, is a semi-detached cottage, which offers comfortable and cosy 3 Bedroomed Self-Catering Accommodation.

The cottage sleeps 5 in one double, one twin and one single bedroom.

Tarbet, which is on the A82 about 2/3 of the way north on the western shores of Loch Lomond,  is two miles from  Arrochar, and is an ideal centre from which to tour Argyll,  the Trossachs and Kintyre.

The majestic peaks of  Ben Lomond,  and The Cobbler, Ben Vane, Ben Ime which form the Arrochar Alps, dominate the surrounding area.

The village of Tarbet is small  but has an Hotel with restaurants, a sub Post Office and a Tearoom. 
Arrochar on the A83, is a larger village with more shops, restaurants and hotels.

Cruise Loch Lomond operates regular ferry services  from the pier at Tarbet, to Inversnaid and Rowardennan for access to The West Highland Way or to climb Ben Lomond.

There is an Information Centre/shop in the village of Tarbet for the Scottish Tourist Board, Visit Scotland.

Glencoe, Oban, Fort William, Dunoon, Inveraray, Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow are all within a few hours easy drive of Tarbet and it also benefits from having a

Railway Station a few minutes from the house with stations on the scenic West Highland Line to Fortwilliam, Mallaig, Oban and Glasgow if you want to have a break from driving!
